Fact-Checking Policy
Source hierarchy
- Hands-on testing: our own campaign and integration tests, with dates and screenshots. Primary evidence for capability and performance claims.
- Public-company data: ZoomInfo earnings calls, investor decks, 10-K / 10-Q filings. Used for pricing-strategy and customer-metrics claims.
- Vendor primary: vendor pricing pages, product documentation.
- Verified user data: G2, Capterra, Trustpilot — current counts linked directly.
- Tier-1 sales media: SaaStr, Sales Hacker, 30 Minutes to President's Club (for ecosystem context).
Vendor blogs are never used as primary sources for factual claims about competitors.
Performance verification (autonomous SDRs)
Performance claims (reply rates, meetings booked per seat, rep-time saved) come from our own 14-day campaign runs on compliant opted-in lists. Vendor-reported performance figures are flagged separately and not used as our headline numbers.
Pricing verification
Pricing re-verified against vendor pricing pages quarterly. Visible last-reviewed date on every review. Between-cycle changes corrected within 72 hours.
When sources conflict
When vendor-claimed performance conflicts with our hands-on results or third-party user reports, we cite both and explain the discrepancy. We do not default to the vendor-favourable number.
